The Paper Drive is still going on! If you want to help BHSA run smoother and make your teachers lives a little bit easier, bring in your 8.5 X 11 white copy paper stat!
The Senior Trip is coming up fast! Tickets are sold out! Great work Seniors! Make sure to pay off the balance on your deposit by January 16th.
Frankenstein Writing Assignment #2 is due Wednesday January 6! Remember, you must have a classmate edit your paper and sign off BEFORE you turn it in. The paper must be typed. No exceptions!
Last but not least, our Discussion Board is back in Action. I have changed the format just a little. Instead of asking a specific question, I have simply created a post for Frankenstein where YOU can post YOUR thoughts and questions. Much better, huh?

End of the Semester is upon us-are you ready?

Hey Students and Parents!
We are coming up on the end of our first semester-the last day of the 3rd marking period is January 22nd.
 This is critical to remember-if you have struggled with passing in the first two marking periods, you ABSOLUTELY must pass this marking period!
My goal is for each and every one of you to learn, grow, and ultimately GRADUATE at the end of this year. If you are worried, concerned, or anxious about your grade, please contact me NOW, when we can both work together to get you where you need to be!

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held at Brooklyn High School of the Arts on the evening of Oct. 29 and the afternoon of Oct. 30.
PLEASE come visit me in my room, 202 B, to discuss your student’s progress in my class, upcoming projects and activities, and view examples of your student’s work.

• Class Contracts outlining classroom rules, grading policies, homework policies, etc.
• Course Outline-a template for what we will be studying in the first marking period
